Care & Maintenance Guidelines
- Global Quartz Surfaces are nearly maintenance-free if handled properly.
- Quartz is resistant to cracking and withstands typical household use without damage.
-
Though heat resistant, prolonged exposure to very hot cookware can cause damage — always use
trivets or hot pads.
- Use cutting boards to prevent scratches even though surfaces resist marking.
-
The non-porous nature makes Global Quartz surfaces easy to clean and inhibits bacterial
growth in fissures and pores.
-
Quartz surfaces are not susceptible to stains from oil, wine, juice, and most common
substances.
-
Avoid strong acidic or alkaline cleaners; always use products with a pH closer to neutral
and follow manufacturer dilution instructions.
-
For dried residue, use a scraper or Scotch-Brite scrub pad, then clean with mild detergent
and warm water.
-
Everyday cleaning can be done with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse and dry thoroughly
after cleaning.
-
In high-traffic areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, and floors, routine cleaning with a dust
mop or soft bristle brush is recommended daily.
